My first article would be the invention of the computer , technically a computer is a programmable machine . This means it can execute a programmed list of instructions and respond to new instructions that it is given. Today, however the tern is most often used to refer to the desktop and laptop computers that most people use. When referring to a desktop model, the term "computer" technically only refers to the computer itself , not the monitor, keyboard, and mouse . Still it is acceptable to refer everything together as the computer . If u want to be really technical , the box that holds the computer is called the "system unit".

Modern computers are electronic and digital. The actual machinery , wires , transistors and circuits , is called hardware ; the instructions and data are called software.
All general -purpose computers require the following hardware components:
- Memory: Enables a computer to store, at least temporarily , data and programs.
- Mass Storage Device: Allows a computer to permanently retain large amounts of data. Common mass storage devices include disk drives and tape drives.
- Input Device: Usually a keyboard and mouse , the input device is the conduit through which data and instructions enter a computer.
- Output Device: A display screen, printer , or other device that lets you see what the computer has accomplished.
- Central Processing Unit (CPU): The heart of the computer, this is the component that actually executes instructions.
Some of the major parts of a personal computer ( or PC) include the motherboard , CPU , memory ( or RAM) , hard drive , and video card . While personal computers are by far the most common type of computers today , there are several other types of computers. For example , a "minicomputer" is a powerful computer that can support many users at once. A "mainframe' is a large , high-powered computer that can perform billions of calculations from multiple sources at one time. Finally , a "supercomputer" is a machine that can process billions of instructions a second and is used to calculate extremely complex calculations.

Computers over the past years have become a vastly popular household item. The luxury of emailing messages as opposed to charging up the phone bill is more appealing. Checking news , weather , and sports via the internet is a convenience that many are taking advantage of. Our children's lives are already getting influenced by technology , and this is just the beginning . Computers and Internet are here to stay and software titles targeting young children to increase. Today, we find computers in use everywhere , whether we go to reserve a train ticket or to a bank . This is because it is faster and helps us complete our work without mistakes/errors . So parents too have realized the need to help their children develop strong
computer skills.
All the above discussion is that we use our computer in almost everything in our daily life , but my question here is do we rely to much on our computers that if one day the system in our computers shut down what would happen ?

In my opinion, this day we really depend with our computer but not only computer we also have high dependency with another technology because technologies help us to do our job easily. Therefore if one day the computer system shut down, we will find difficulty to do our job because of the above reason.
Well,today's business world,education world and daily responsibilities do rely too much on computers.Therefore,everyone should think the ways to continue our life without these inventions one day.However,people are not realizing that this reliability had effected the human health and mental abilities. It is true that we need to teachs our childrens on how important computers are but also we need to expose the disadvantages with and without computers in today's world so that they will prepare themselves and won't relying too much on these inventions!If we continues relying too much on the computers daily, the world will be in the mess which it is the end of the world.
I am agree with what ayesha said. Yes, in today's world, everyone is continue their life with these inventions but they are not realizing that these inventions had seriously affected the human health and mental abilities. We do need to aware of the disadvantages of computers, but, in fact, we need computer in our life no matter for a student or even a businessman. What i am trying to say is that computer has become one part of humans life now that human would have difficultly to continue their life or work if without computers.
Generations today I do believe rely too much on computers. My mom was telling us that when the power supply of the organisation is cut, employees are unable to proceed with their jobs due to the reliance of computer. Compering to our parents era where without a computer, they are still able to operate.
This is not a very save method there should always be back-up of information stored so that if the computer crashes, there is still a back-up file.
Because the usage of the computers are high, therefore, inventors should come up with a internal power supply for computers in the future so that there will still be time to store whatever information that is needed when the power shuts down.
Now this morden days we are really depended on computer. Every where we are useing computer. You know what the meaning of death is?!! I would encounter to that if I wake up and find out my laptop is out of order. Honestly I’m addicted to my laptop since I even go to bed and sleep with it!!! The question is that, do we really need to spend this much of time with our computers? I don’t think so, but even though I know I can read news by news paper and I can communicate with my friends via postal way, but I prefer to hug my laptop and spend the entire of my day with it regardless on the affects it has on my eyes!!! Please forget about the last part of your question since I don’t want to think about the day my laptop is out of order!!!!

When you are young age you use computer to play games when you are a student you need computer to study or collect information and when you come to work you need computer to share information now day’s computer is important as a Human. For example when you use internet you must need computer. In the internet we can get any information we need. Here computer is helping to share the information. So today life is no computer no life.

Beside this aspect I want to mention in a different side, about health problem. If we only sit on the computer all day. How can you imagine what would happen to our life?
We no longer want to go out for shoping or meeting with many people around me. It’s will make us lazier feel lack of energy. This is very not good for growing children. Sitting all day motionlessly can give us the risk of having many kinds of deseases which are very popular in mordern life such as: eyes problem (mypiotia), obesity, headache, backache. This makes our health become worse and worse.
Of course we can be sure that computer is very useful nowadays but we can’t depend too much on it, just make use of it as an effective tool to make our life better and simpler, we should not let it control us.

Invention of computer brings a lot of changes in modern world. Now a day our life cannot run without computer. Technology improves a lot and i think it’s almost impossible that the computer world will destroy. If it’s really happen we will find some difficulties on our daily life but people can survive without computer and we will do our works as like people’s done 100 years ago.
