A female condom is also available, most often made of polyurathane. As a method of contraception, male condoms have the advantage of being inexpensive, easy to use, having few side-effects, and of offering protection against sexually transmitted diseases. With proper knowledge and application technique—and use at every act of intercourse, users of male condoms experience a 2% per-year pregnancy rate.
Condoms have been used for at least 400 years. Since the nineteenth century, they have been one of the most popular methods of contraception in the world. While widely accepted in modern times, condoms have generated some controversy. Improper disposal of condoms contributes to litter problems, and the Roman Catholic Church generally opposes condom use.
The question is could it be that the invention of the condom is encouraging people to have sex before marriage , or with other people freely ?

For certain people to have sex before marriage become common this day, this is happen especially in certain country in Asia because of influence from other culture. Using condom during sex intercourse is not the only way to have sex and also prevent pregnancy. Well, I have to say its interesting subject Anuar, good job ;). Let me give my idea, since condom is not just used for the before marriage sex, the statement of encouraging people to this issue may be ignored, in addition there is the other factor which must be considered, after the marriage the need of using condom is really required since many couples “I mean men” cant really do the contraception when they are making love to their wife, so in order to not having unsolicited baby there is the need of using it. The other factor which I like to share with you is more on the social concept. Have you ever heard the “push” and “pull” strategy? Do you think if the societies discourage the people to not have sex before marriage, they will do it so? I call it push strategy, I mean any time you prohibit some body from doing some thing, you are pushing him to no do that, and he defiantly will do it. So providing the condoms for the public (even for free) may be the helpful strategy to not push the people using it and leave them free to judge and make the right decision and also provide the safety factors to the public to control the sexual diseases as well.
Sex before marriage is a very common thing in today's world. In my opinion, condom is encouraging people to have sex indirectly. Today, people do not worry about anything after sex because of condom. However, no condoms would not stop people from having sex but it would lead them to unsafe sex with possibilities of having sexually transmitted diseases. This way the amount of people affected with diseases like HIV would increase drastically every day.
